For fans of the Street Food, for Foodies that want to discover true food gems, and for the traditionalists that love an authentic seafood cooking on the bay of Portonovo. Here are some tips to follow to avoid mistakes, especially in the summer!

For Street food lovers there is the Kiosk of Morena. It is located in the city center, along the main street of Ancona, few steps away from the port. Here the choice is between mussels, cod and oysters, paired with a good glass of wine, strictly Verdicchio.

Nearby you can find Bontà delle Marche, for a snack break between the traditional local specialties. It’s the right place to enjoy selected and local products before continuing your journey…

If you want to move a bit next to the sea, the Sabay Bar is the right address to remember! It is a little kiosk in the Mount Conero with a complete informal atmosphere, that makes sandwiches, piadine and pizza, all valued by typical local products.

For Foodies we recommend Clandestino, the Moreno’s Cedroni Sushi Bar located in the Portonovo bay. Stopping by here during the sunset is very romantic and very foodie …

For a real  “from farm to fork” experience, you could stop by to the La tavola del Carmine. Here pasta is homemade with the same wheat grown in the field around, there is also a small area used to grow vegetables and an animal farm. A real agriturismo where products arrive on the table with authentic taste and aromas.

For those who prefer a proper seafood cooking in the Portonovo bay, we suggest three places: Giacchetti , Laghetto and Molo. The food is great and there is a very pleasant atmosphere. There are also wines from Umani Ronchi, with a great value for your money.
